Đầu nối sợi quang SC kiểu AMP NETCONNECT LightCrimp Plus từ Tyco Electronics là những đầu nối quang không có-epoxy, không đánh bóng, giúp cho thao tác bấm đầu quang được nhanh chóng và dễ dàng hơn với thời gian bấm đầu ít hơn một phút mỗi sợi. Bề mặt của đầu nối  LightCrimp Plus đã được nhà máy mài bóng nên có thể dễ dàng bấm đầu cáp quang trong 3 bước: tuốt dây, cắt và bấm đầu quang.
 
Đầu nối sợi quang SC kiểu AMP NETCONNECT LightCrimp Plus dùng cho sợi quang multimode và singlemode dạng Simplex hay Duplex, (62.5/125µm và 50/125µm) đạt tiêu chuẩn ANSI/TIA/EIA-604-3. Đầu nối LightCrimp Plus XG  vượt tất cả các yêu cầu của chuẩn ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B và ISO 11801.
 
Đầu chóp connector được làm bằng sứ và được mài sẵn từ nhà máy, khi lắp đặt không cần dùng keo hay mài.
